GIVING them HOPE
CHANGING their FUTURE
International
Cambodia Ministry
Sunbeam Kids International was founded in 2008, with the goal to be Christ’s hands extended to help alleviate the suffering of destitute poor children in the world, currently focusing on the suffering children of Cambodia. These children who live in such dire poverty are the most vulnerable members of society. To bring the Hope of the Gospel to them
Sunbeam Kids International staff is motivated by the power of the Holy Spirit. First to heed Christ’s Words to us in Matthew 25:34-40
Alleviate hunger, thirst, clothing and loneliness
Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You? And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
Secondly to not only help the destitute poor children of Cambodia with their physical needs, but also their spiritual needs by introducing Jesus Christ to them as their Savior and to instill Christian values.
Sharing the Gospel
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How, then, can the call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? Romans 10:13-15
Discipleship Training
Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6
This work is being done through Sunbeam Kids International being Christ’s hands extended in the following programs and outreaches to help meet the spiritual, physical, material and educational needs of the precious vulnerable children of Cambodia. It is our desire to see these vulnerable children grow up healthy in their spirit, soul and body, and to grow up to be productive citizens in society.
1. Establish and maintain an orphanage for orphaned and abandoned children. Total care to see that they can live in a family setting filled with love, a safe environment to live, are nurtured, have good food, education, clothing and a relationship with Jesus.
2. Education, have non-formal education schools for the poor and destitute children who live too far to go to school, cannot pay the cost of school, and who otherwise would have no education at all. These schools are free to the children.
3. Feeding programs.
4. Programs to help with poor and destitute children’s education or vocational training.
5. Supplement family programs through sponsoring children helping with food, education and basic healthcare.
6. Programs for nutritional and hygiene awareness.
7. Child trafficking prevention program by teaching parents, communities and the children themselves of what to look for, how to recognize potential child traffickers and establish a reporting system.
8. Village Bible Clubs where each child can learn about the love of Jesus for themselves through sharing the Gospel and discipleship.
9. Bringing clean water to the families either through digging wells or water filtrations systems.
