Sunbeam Kids Children at Risk Program is actively involved with children that are at risk. Jerry and Wilma Mishler have lived full-time out on the Cambodian mission field since January, 2002 and personally are seeing the heartbreaking conditions that the Cambodian children face daily.
The effect of the genocide in the late 1970's is still taking its toll on this broken country. Poverty is not deminishing. Many children are unable to attend school especially in the rural remote villages. Broken families, abandoned children and orphaned children are leaving both mothers and children without hope and no chance for a future.
So what are we doing about this? First of all we show them the Love of God by introducing them to the Savior, Jesus Christ. This gives them an Eternal Hope and changes their Eternal Future. This is done through our Sunbeam Kids Bible Clubs in the remote village areas as well the adult ministry in hand in hand association with On the Frontline Ministries, Inc.
Through our Sunbeam Kids Bible Clubs our National trained Missionaries are able to access families, see the children on a weekly basis to not only have them grow up spiritually, but also to find out what is going on in their families. This is how we find out about the orphaned and abandoned children. Those children that are not able to be placed and integrated with Christian families are placed in our Sunbeam Kids Orphanage.
It is our goal to keep reaching more and more children with the Gospel. We need your help to touch these precious little ones. Their lives are so broken and sad. Sunbeam Kids Village Bible Clubs reaches thousands of children every week that would not have a chance to hear the Good News. Below are listed things that our National Missionaries are doing to help the children at risk through our Children at Risk Program.

o Teach about nutrition and hygiene
o Teach Christian morals & family responsibilities
o Trafficking prevention - Teaching families and caregivers about child
traffickers and where to report violators
o Staff and interns report to proper authorities child sexual and physical
abuses
o Work with families encouraging and caregivers encouraging to enroll
children in school
o Feeding Programs
o Make strong families, reunite children with parents
o Orphanage
